No-Frost A/C & Heating Testimonials

Eric from No-Frost was professional. He tried numerous things and ran a few tests in attempts to get the compressor working. In the end, the compressor just needed to be replaced. We have opted to replace the whole system instead of fixing the compressor. Eric provided the options we could take, but given the costs of a new compressor and the fact our current system uses R22 which is no longer available, we decided to go ahead and replace the system.

Clint was great, on time, professional, and most importantly, he was honest. Originally, I had asked for some work on the exhaust assembly from the furnace, but Clint told me to contact a chimney expert since the work would need to include the chimney liner.

The tech found a capacitor was failing and replaced it. Glad he caught it rather than having it fail when cold! Just out of warranty, but not too expensive. I've had No-Frost maintain our system since they installed it. Really nice family-owned and -run company. I highly recommend them.

Trouble call was taken by Eileen at 7:18 AM on Saturday morning. She was extremely professional and followed up throughout the morning to ensure that I understood that No-Frost was going to respond to my A/C issue. On-site crew was prompt and professional, fixed the issue, and provided additional maintenance to my heat pump as a preventative measure.

The furnace was cycling but not igniting. Called late morning and work was done by early afternoon. Chad checked everything out, cleaned the flame rod (sensor), and then checked several times to ensure that the header would light before leaving. No-Frost was efficient, friendly, and they delivered exactly as promised. I would definitely call them again if we needed heating and A/C help.

I called Eileen at 8:45 AM to schedule someone to come out and look at our furnace (we’d been getting cold air from the vents and had some pretty chilling mornings as the weather started to turn). I told Eileen that someone would be home all day, and she said she would check her schedule and get back to me. In less than an hour, I was contacted by our technician, Matt, and he was at our house in less than 15 minutes after that. He looked at the furnace, cleaned some connection, and suggested replacing the igniter (which I did). So in less than 2 hours from the initial call Eileen, the work was done and the house was at a comfortable temperature. We will definitely use No-Frost again if we have any heating or A/C issues.

Approximately 30 minutes later the problem was fixed, and he gave me tips on how to conduct maintenance on my A/C unit. The company that installed the unit 3 years earlier was too busy to help us. Our 3-year-old unit quit running on a very hot weekend and the company that sold and installed it was too busy to come out. A neighbor recommended No-Frost. Shortly thereafter, our air conditioner decided to not work and your son came and helped us out. He refilled the air conditioner with Freon and in a couple of days, it was empty again!

He spent many hours here and we made a couple of holes in the drywall to find the leak and he found it! Amazing! At the time, I was not very happy about anything, but your son kept me positive and after he had found the leak, he helped me find the people who repaired all the holes in my drywall to perfection. I have since learned that he is no longer with us — honored be his memory. I have three children and I can't imagine the loss you have had.
